    Quitting an online hack

If you're hacking someone and they turn off their xbox just because you're winning, you should still get the rewards. Sick of getting ripped off by *** who can't hack losing.

    Hacker Online

I was playing MW2 online, when i ende in a modded lobby. The player used aimbotand more hacks like that, i made a record of it and so on. Contacted xbox support and got this reference code (1311099816). GT of the player is "Go Macaa". I recomend that
every one who meet this person do a file complaint on him/her. We need to help all the players who do not hack to get this kind of people out of here.

Thanks for reading and helping mee with this problem, have a nice day people.

I agree you should definitely get the win by default if someone quits. What I don't agree with is the decision that ubisoft took in making it mandatory to allow others into your game at all times or have your notoriety reset. That's just not fun at all.
There are times I'm playing and am open to having other players enter my world, but there are other times when real life prevents me from playing for extended periods and it would be nice to enjoy the game without the interruptions. I remember the first time
I was hacked, I was in the middle of trying to leave the game due to a real world situation going on with my kids at home. Never having been hacked before, I was completely unfamiliar with what to look for on the screen. Since the game had already fooled me
once with an "AI" hack. I saw the other life player and merely assumed it was another AI hack and could care less if I quit out or not. I quit the game, and suddenly I'm getting emails from the guy whining about me having quit out. While I can feel his pain,
it still would have been nice to play the game offline whenever I wanted to but then return later on to the online portion without the penalties of being reset.

It seems like all of their online decisions were not well thought out. As it stands, I have times when I have to do something, put the controller down for a moment, only to come back and find I've been hacked by some fool in my absence. Another time I went
to quit the game because I had to go somewhere and it refused to let me quit stating "Someone else is in your game" or something along those lines. I needed to leave my house and the game was holding me hostage, even refusing to let me get to the main menu
or quit the game! The worst is I had not received any notification at all that anyone was tailing me or hacking me whatsoever prior to attempting to leave my game. Naturally I wasn't being held hostage by this game so I just home screened and menu quit.

I don't know there needs to be a balance somewhere with these games sometimes lol.

  5. If I'm in the process of quitting to go and do something else in the real world, I don't see why I should be held back by someone wanting a few XP points. It's a ridiculous decision by Ubisoft.

I can fully understand you being annoyed that people turn off when losing, I would be too but at times some of those people might genuinely just be going to get ready to go out, or to make themselves dinner.

I have no problem with people leaving if they have to go. Its when you get to at least 95% through the hack and they turn it off because they cant find you thats annoying.

Yeah, like I said before, I am totally ok with them giving the win by default to the other gamer if someone quits out. But then they need to offer up better options when it comes to wanting to leave a game if you aren't even aware of another players presence.

In the beginning there was so much information overload going on, I hadn't the foggiest of a clue to when I was being hacked or not by another player. The initial tutorial for that is an AI from BLUME hacking you, and when it happened I got freaked out thinking
it was a live person. Then when I realized it was just an AI, I thought, "OH this sort of thing must happen every now and then with the AI". So after that the first few players who attempted hacks on me may have had me quit out on them because I was thinking
it was the AI. I don't particularly find that aspect of the game much fun because it breaks my flow when I'm in the middle of something else, so I probably saw the hack happening and was like "OH FUNK this...I don't feel like playing this stupid mini-game
right now" and quit out. Granted NOW I know better but back then I had zero clues as to what the heck was going on.

Now I'm a bit more clever about it and can stand a fighting chance. As I play, if I don't wish to be hacked, I simply make sure to constantly be on the move in a fast vehicle. I have found it always spawns other players in a car chasing me, and if they can't
catch me, they can't activate their hack and end up leaving frustrated as I drive around like a lunatic. I also hit my focus every 30 seconds or so to make sure I'm alone. I noticed that when another player is in the game, the focus option doesn't work because
I can't be in bullet time while another player is moving about in real time. So that's an immediate red flag if I hit focus and the world keeps moving normally. Another more common trick is to just check the pause menu. If it's still moving paused, you've
got company. Using those tricks helps me avoid quitting out accidently on another player.

  9. "I also hit my focus every 30 seconds or so"

Try the pause button (Start button or whatever it's called now on XB1). It'll save your focus. Game can't be paused online so if you hit it every now and then when in free-mode you'll know early when somebody's invaded.

NOTE times when you're odds-on to be invaded are:

    * After you've invaded somebody.

    * As soon as you finish a mission (though I think you have to be a constant invader yourself for this)

    * Hack a Blume associate ofcourse, so if you want to bait invasions, look for Blume Associates.

DEFINATELY the more you invade the more you are invaded.

  10. Yeah, I do hit the pause occasionally but I find that often times the focus keeps me more in the flow than being yanked out by the pause screen and then attempting to return to my flow. Plus I rarely use the focus for any real purpose other than the one
I described lol. I often times simply forget it's even there. For me, I find that if I pause, that's one second or so I'm defenseless as well, and I've found even a fraction of a second can make the difference between getting hacked or catching the culprit.
At least when I'm in focus, I am still able to move my character and can immediately switch tactics to avoid a hack or hacker escaping. Last night I was racing along on the highway just finishing a mission, when I hit focus for a second, the game kept racing
along and I knew immediately what was happening. I threw the car into a spin and doubled back, causing the individual chasing me to get caught off guard. I raced back through a tunnel, blocked the exit, and ran outside for cover, as the traffic flowed around
my car I accidently shot an AI thinking it was him, but soon after caught him in the next car and took him out. It all happened so fast I was still spinning the camera AFTER I had already won lol. I have the clip in my profile.
