Quit to Main Menu issue.

Hi Guys,

This has only started to happen over the past few days.

If I choose the Quit to Main Menu option then I get the animated Watch Dogs logo with the loading progress bar below it (filled about a quarter of the way).

And that's it!

The game hangs there, I have left it for over 2hours and still nothing. If I turn off the xbox and reload it, the game tries to continue from that screen.

The only way around it, is to boot up another game then go back to Watch Dogs. What a complete Pain in the a*se!!!

Please figure out what's wrong and fix it, it's making me not want to play this game.

Destiny Help...

I had this issue yesterday, turns out there was a patch that needed to be installed. I quit out of Destiny, click the Menu button, AKA the start button, on the main box on the dash, select quit, start it again and it will say an update is needed.

Yep I got it and it may have fixed the quit to main menu bug as well as I playe dover an hour and was able to quit to the main menu. Have you tried?

 

Yea I have had the same issue since I downloaded the season pass and digital trip. I just boot another game. Game definitely needs some polish.

 

It's little things like this which spoil the enjoyment of the game, and make me not want to play it anymore.

 

I have to unplug and restart all the time. And it's not just this game.

 

This happens to me every time. I think in the 25 hours I've played the game, it's only once taken me back to the main menu. Annoying.

 

Ive had this for a while and ive done a post about this and they still have not fixed this issue. This should not be happening with new games.

Touch wood its not the start of the game that wont load its just when you go to quit from the game it gets stuck and you have to go back to dashboard to quit game. Im very dissapointed with this as Ubisoft game are good and ive ordered the new assasins unity
game but woried that to could have problems so may have to cancel it and wait and see. Lets hope they get this sorted as im really enjoying watchdogs.

 

This just getting to be a joke now as ive just done an update for watchdogs thinking they would have sorted the problem , so iI played for an hour went to quit the game menu and yet again the bar went to around 20% and then stopped. Why on earth have they
not fixed this yet as there a lot of people with this issue and its not being sorted.

 

Haha yea the patch didn't fix this issue. What a joke Ubisoft are becoming.

 

When you quit out to the dashboard, you can click the "Start" key and select "quit" to get you out of the loading screen. This beats having to load up another game just to re-start Watch Dogs.

 

Eggnogg thanks for the reply and thats what I have to do but I assume xCHEMISTx is having the same issue as me and this should be fixed buy ubisoft and as ive said before im worried for assasins unity now if they cant get this to work after all the delays
it had to.

 

Well, last night it appeared to be working. I exited to the main menu, and it actually took me to the menu. So, hopefully that takes care of that.
