Just curious,do you have your X1 in quick start mode or snail pace slo mode.

And which one of these is better for the console health wise and life span wise.

Quickie post, I forgot the add last night but will hit it out tonight for sure.

 

I have mine in energy saving mode (slow start up) as the console is still using about 72w of power when switched off using instant on mode.

 

Mine is on instant on mode.

Not really sure if there is any difference if I am honest as I have always had it in this mode.

 

Instant on for me as I realised it hardly uses any elec and my bills haven't gone up, had it on instant since October

 

i have mine on instant but 9 times outta 10 i turn it off at the mains which defeats the object.

 

Instant on for me. That way, when i switch it on, i know i haven't got to wait for any potential updates before i play.

 

Instant on since launch day with no issues.

 

Instant on. Give it a rest once a week by unplugging everything though. Drives the kids mad!! Lol

 

I've put on power saver mode for the time being as playing the witcher 3 there's a glitch where if you resume the game from instant on mode, it can sometimes corrupt the save

 

I have had it on instant on since I got it. All games and updates Downloaded, and you can say "Xbox on" and you get the famous De de and off you go!
