    I dont care what anyone says about the quick resume feature. It's a great idea on paper, but in execution it stresses out the system. 1st and foremost though who really cares about no loading. Cool I can instantly jump in a game, but not at the cost of putting extra ware on my TV or Xbox. But even after that it's too early for any developers to utilize and so it renders it useless. Like with some people saying they only play multiplayer online games. Your redundant feature can't and will take time to adapt to make it run as intended. My argument is that every new feature decided should come with an on off button so us ppl who dislike can have the option. Then you can see if ppl like it or not based off how many ppl use it. Please fix this and do better microsoft

    If you delete games from your quick resume list they reappear so it doesn't stop thr problems. I want to be able to shut it off completely.

    disabling quick resume is currently being explored, but may not be possible as it is tied into every system on the Xbox, there is no news on a timetable, and if and when it happens, it will be announced via Xbox social media likely in conjunction with a major OS update

    As I mentioned, if you want to submit a feedback for the Xbox team to remove the quick resume feature or to have an option to complete turn it off, please use the Feedback Hub app. There is no way to completely turn it off right now.

    There wouldn't be any ware on your TV.

    Such a system would put ware on your Xbox storage, but over a significant time period. How much ware we do not yet know, there is only a finite amount of time data can be stored to an SSD. However, SSD drives do utilise a technique called 'ware levelling' where the data is arranged so that write/erase cycles are distributed evenly among all of the 'blocks' that make up the storage in the drive. Even with this, Solid State drives are far more reliable than old mechanical platter drives.

    Until there is any changes to how quick resume works, the only way to prevent it is to close your game down when finished. This prevents the console from saving a suspended snapshot or 'save state'. Thus, the next time you load the game it boots to its main menu.

    I noticed the same thing for Valhalla. It's still working on other titles (Gears Tactics, Tell Me Why for instance).
