Discus and support Quick Resume ......What's Going On ? in XBoX on Windows to solve the problem; Ive been advised that having QR activated could cause some performance issues with certain games so im looking for a way to de activate the feature yet...     Quick Resume ......What's Going On ?


    Ive been advised that having QR activated could cause some performance issues with certain games so im looking for a way to de activate the feature yet no matter if i manually remove the game from the QR list or if i press the X on the controller to shut the game down properly the instant i check the game is back in the QR folder. Im just going round in circles trying to sort this out. Surely there has to be a way to permanently deactivate the feature on certain games or does every game repeatedly have the feature added everytime i boot the game up?

    Just pressing the Xbox button to bring up the guide does not quit the game. You also have to go to the game, then press the menu button on the controller, then select quit game.

    Quick resume is not something that can be disabled at this time. You need to go out to the dashboard, hit the start button on the game, and go to quit to ensure it does not enter quick resume

    What are you trying to do exactly play disk games ? If so then it's not quick resume

    Digital consoles only play digital games not disks

    We need the exact msg

    If you just got the console you wouldn't have issues with quick resume

    It is only a next gen feature

    You wouldnt have any quick resume

    Hi your going to delete the quick resume files on Fortnite

    • Click the home button restart the console if needed select my games and apps.
    • Select see all you're going to delete your quick resume file for this game its usually 1.0 GB file.
    • highlight the Fortnite game app do not open it.
    • select manage game and click saved data quick start resume this allow start up past the seasonal starting video.
    • Delete all quick resume files these will be replaced with files that are not corrupted.
    • go back to the home screen and start the game it should reboot to start of season no harm will be done to your inventory.
