Quick resume not working at all (Series S)

    Quick resume not working at all (Series S)


    I have had the Series S for about 2 weeks now and quick resume hasn't worked at all

    I know that some games are currently disabled from using it, but no games at all have worked with it for me, not even non-optimized ones

    Every time I'm in a game and switch to a different one, it forces the previous game to start over, like when you first launch it after "quitting" it

    Is it completely disabled? What is going on?

    Another question: Does / will it work with apps too?

    Hi all,

    I am having the same problem on an Xbox Series S. I found that closing the game and restarting (not quick resume) fixes it. No idea why this is happening.

    Hardspace shipbreaker freezing everytime I turn on xbox and use quick resume!

    The opton of report a problem perfectly works in you region, here in Brasil (with "s" please) it just load and enter in a looping, in xbox series x with a 250mb/s optical fiber internet. Plus, the game hardspace shipbreaker froze not only in quick resume, it froze if is put in second plan. The quick resume is just one of it's problems. Its remind me the playstation 3 era, in Fallout 3 and Fallout new vegas, that frozen everytime, and just if look for them.

    So I had a series s before this series x and I could’ve sworn whenever a game was opened it would automatically show I’m quick resume and it’s not doing that on my series x I can’t pin any games except cod vanguard

    Quick Resume doesn't work at all

    It's nothing to worry about. The quick resume feature does have a few issues, and some games just do not support it yet. It's best for now to save your game and quit when you want to play something different.

    Some games do not support Quick Resume, the developer can disable the feature for their game if they wish.

    For example Fortnite does not and never has supported quick resume.
