    Quick resume limits download speeds?


    I'm having an issue on Series X where having any game available in quick resume limits download speeds to 47 mbps. (averaging mid 30s) Manually quitting the game to clear it from quick resume immediately uncaps the download speeds. This applies to both
    internet downloads and system to systems transfers over local network. Both consoles are hard wired.

    Xbox beta on my pc downloads games so slowly and my internet speed is about 2GBPS

    Yes, resume the download after running the code and check the speed.

    If there is no change in speed, please run the following command at command prompt (Administrator)

    netsh winsock reset

    (Pause the download before running above code)

    Resume the download after this.

    try starting the download/install then pause it, wait a few minutes then resume the download.

    I had to do this a few times to install NMS as the download speed kept dropping or stopping but pausing and resuming got it to download in the end

    If you delete games from your quick resume list they reappear so it doesn't stop thr problems. I want to be able to shut it off completely.

    disabling quick resume is currently being explored, but may not be possible as it is tied into every system on the Xbox, there is no news on a timetable, and if and when it happens, it will be announced via Xbox social media likely in conjunction with a major OS update
