Quick question

I'm downloading Adv. Warfare. I'm at 50% now so I know I can play but when I launch the game is says it needs an update. Can I update the game before it is completely installed or will it mess things up? Thank you!

Sorry if this has been asked a lot or if it's me just being stupid. I'm confused. I just ordered the 1TB Spring Bundle from Microsoft and it says on the website (and everywhere else) that the games should be digital downloads. However, there were discs in the box. I'm installing Halo 5 and it is taking a while.

Was sending me the physical discs a mistake? Did I misunderstand the item description online? Are these actually digital versions but I'm downloading from a disc instead of a code?

Side note: The box was a little crushed on one corner but everything looked fine. When updating the system when I booted it up I kept getting errors. I tried a few different restart methods and it eventually worked. Really hope nothing is wrong with the system.

A few guns that you might wanna have in stock. Id definitely would definitely recommend An anarchy smg,a unforgiven masher,combustion hellfire,pestilent defiler,and a pestilent crux should make life alot easier for you on the general knox dlc.

 

Hi there, you can most certainly select to install the update while the game itself is still installing, I believe what happens though is it will immediately start the download of the update and stop installing from the disc so sometimes to make it a faster
process, installing the game while offline and then the updates after the game is finished installing offline will be the fastest way to get gaming.

Though to answer your questions, it won't stuff anything up installing the update while the game is still installing, might just make it a little slower.

 

If you tell the Xbox to download the update, you don't be able to play until it is complete. Someone else on another thread found this out the hard way.

If you want to keep playing, download the update at a later time when you don't want to play.
