Quick game pass question

Hi, just a quick question revolving around game pass;

I have a 5 dollar gift voucher and for me Game pass is about 1 dollar. Will i be able to get it from my gift card? And also when i get the game pass is it true i get Xbox live gold? Since Xbox game pass is not compatible with the xbox 360, will the Xbox
live gold from the Xbox game pass work on the 360 system?

So basically:

1. Will i be able to redeem it from a gift card?

2. Will the Xbox live gold supplied from the game pass work on my xbox 360?
