Quick first impressions

YOU control your spawn, so if you are getting spawn killed, its YOUR fault, just saying. There are usually points or flags as main spawns OR you can spawn on YOUR squad. I could imagine 64 man TDM being a bit chaotic, but I dunno what modes you are playing.
Find some of these threads in this forum (people playing in parties) and you gaming experience will be way MOE better. Plus alot of guys in these forums are great gamers.

 

I'm sorry, but i'm having trouble understanding how getting spawn killed would be MY fault. Because last time i checked(keep in mind i am new, i could be missing something), at the deploy screen, there is no indicator to let me know that the teammate i'm
about to spawn on is being shot at. If there was, obviously i would NOT spawn on him. So the first sentence in your comment isn't a smart one, "just saying". Anyway spawn kills are a problem no matter what mode your playing. But, they are not the only issue
i have with the game. But i'm gonna keep playing it because i spent $120 and theres no point in wasting it. Also, i agree, there are great gamers in these forums. There are also also many who aren't(respectfully speaking) Maybe i'll find some good dudes to
play with. I'll just keep on playing.

If there is a way to know a teammate's being shot, how?

 

Haven't had much of a chance to play Hardlines MP yet, but if BF4 is any indication then yes, there is an indicator. Usually if you highlight any one teammate and they are under duress, the small screen on the bottom right flashes/pulses along with the word
"Warning" on it. That's your indicator to spawn in on a safe location or teammate. If it's safe the small screen looks normal. indicating that they are safe to spawn in on.

If you're playing any hardcore mode everyone in your squad is only permitted to spawn in on the squad leader and the squad leader only(squad leaders have a star next to their name), or any objectives your team currently controls.

If you play any standard game modes you are permitted to spawn in on any member of your squad you choose to. Once again you can also spawn on any objectives or areas that you team currently controls.

This game's a lot deeper than it looks and there's a lot to learn still. If you got questions, just ask. There's a lot smarter people here than me that can answer your questions

 

They have acknowledged there is a issue with spawns in 64 man tdm.

 

I never play that game mode, but TDM in Battlefield.... there's the problem LoL. Nothing against the game type, but 64 just sounds like a problem and complete chaos.

 

Well, after listening to people constantly swearing and throwing out racial insults and threats all the time(not to me specifically), i had to contact MS. The girl was extremely nice, and helped me out. I really hope you guys/gals enjoy the BF experience

Check the mini map and see if any enemies are near your squad. See if your squad is firing, ask your squad, see if the enemy is firing, watch killcams. I havent played HL, so I dunno if there are "hide from UAV thingy perks". Have squad "SPOT" and of course
play in parties or with friends or fellow Xbone forum guys or gals. People will exploit and if you have a teammate or squadmate that is AFK (at a spawn) some guys may sit on him and wait for you to spawn. Most of these games are OK (CoD and BFs) but these
COMMUNITIES are terribad.

 

BTW, 64 man TDM is what I have been wanting in BFs, LOL, but I just cant fork out the cash for this game yet. Figures.

 

I miss the huge variety of weapons. I always had a new one to work on when I unlocked all attachments on one weapon. The maps also feel kinda small at times. Oh, and spawning on a CQ control point controlled by your team is like a guaranteed death since
you're so likely to spawn directly next to an opponent or worse, in their line of fire. It's happening way too often and I can't recall it happening as much in BF3 & 4 unless I spawned on a squad mate, in which case it was totally my fault to get killed like
that. Also, Hotwire is a mess. All you have to do is drive around and you get a huge amount of points. Well, it's easy unlocking stuff if that's what you're after, but that's really all it seems to be. Other than that, at least the game mechanics seem to work
and the gameplay is smooth. I'll play it until there's something better on One.

 

Loving every minute. Can't get enough and I haven't said that about a mp game in a long time.

If they gave you a refund Legion you should feel extremely lucky as you played it quite a bit.

 

Nah, i didn't get a refund. The girl help me with system/preferences related things.

 

The game on it's own is O.K., but it should not have Battlefield in it's title. This is no Battlefield game and shouldn't be labeled as one. The game is a hybrid between COD and GTA. I can't believe how bad Visceral has treated the Frostbite engine. Well,
now that I think about it I can. Danger Close did the same thing with MOH:Warfighter. Also, how did Visceral manage to take the Frostbite engine with awesome graphics and make me feel like I'm playing a game on the 360? I think this is the first time a game
has looked worse than it's predecessor. Brilliant job Visceral.

 

Not to stir up too much muck, but BF Hardline is not a good example of the Battlefield Franchise. This iteration was given to a different developer (Viseral as opposed to DICE) to do in an effort to keep from having to continue to dumb down the main franchise
in order to capture the CoD - mindset players. If you want to say you've played BF, get BF4. its been patched into running pretty well now and has all the things that make the series great - multi-level vehicle oriented combat on huge maps. THAT'S Battlefield.
this is more like an expansion pack.

 

This is what I think of the game. There's a lot which could be fixed if you ask me...

 

I'm having a good bunch of fun with the game still but another thing I've noticed, is for the defib or epi-pen to keep equipping itself during combat when I don't want it too. It seems to happen in heated firefights when I'm nearby fallen friendlies. I never
hit the D-pad and the revive tool just pops. Hate that. I'll go ahead and pull that up when I'm ready thanks.
