    Xbox Live Streaming Services have been down since 11am EST with no explanation. No server status updates. I’d really like this fixed before I switch platforms.

    Hi, I hope you're doing great despite the issue you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regard to your concern.

    Seems like there are multiple reports in regards to the said issue, however there are no official announcement which means that we just need to perform troubleshooting steps such as extended powercycle and reset your network hardware by following the steps below:

    1. Unplug the power cable from the back of the router, modem, or gateway for 5 minutes. If you have a router and a modem, unplug the power cable from both devices.

    2. Press and hold the Xbox button on your console for 10 seconds or until it turns off then wait for 2 minutes before turning it on again.

    3. After 5 minutes, plug the modem or gateway in first, and wait for all the lights to return to their normal state.

    4. If you are using a router, plug in the router and wait for all the lights to return to their normal state.

    Scenario:

    Im watching NFL on Sunday afternoon. keeping track of my Fantasy league and during lows in the action, I quick switch to a kinect game and play for a few minutes, then quick switch back to the game as my kinect game gets put on "pause"... my "Skype" starts
    ringing on my TV from the XB1, it is my good friend from Slovakia.. I connect with her.. talk to for a few, get to see how big her girl is getting, and not miss any action on the field... all without lifting a controller...

    You want to spend 100 less just to be able to play video games and maybe stream a movie or some music... please be my guest
