Questions about selling an Xbox 360 slim.

I've considered many times about selling my Xbox 360, but I also don't want to lose my profile. I know I can always transfer it to the cloud, but I don't trust the cloud.

Anyways, my question is: How much would an Xbox 360 be worth without it's hard drive?

Selling my 360 for the One......

I am planning on selling my 250gb Slim Xbox 360 to go towards my One Fund. (Microsoft, please don't send cronies to my house).

Anyway, I have about 28 Disc-games and 17 Downloaded games.

Now, my question is: Can I sell the Xbox with those DL'd games and the "new" owner still play those games? As, I don't want any legal trouble (i.e. selling a console with unplayable games), is it possible for the new owner to transfer licenses? FYI. I do
plan on deleting my LIVE Account from the Console prior to selling it.

Any help would be appreciated.

Questions about the 360 slim

Hi guys so my brother is going to give me his slim and before I replace my og xbox 360 I was wondering about a few things.


Is there any reason why I wouldn’t change to the slim? My OG has a 250 harddrive and slim is missing a hard drive so I have to buy one.


I have OG Xbox games that work with my current OG 360 so would those work on the slim still?


I wanted to get your opinions before I buy a slim Harddrive and do the transfer.

 

Wipe the HDD, and your profile us secured on the Xbox Live Servers. I have done this many times. If you really don't trust Xbox Live (which also tracks your Gamerscore) grab a USB stick and transfer it over that way.

Personally, I would just keep your Xbox 360. It is an amazing console

 

I know that Xbox 360 is amazing, I've had it for many years, I've only had to change consoles once. I started off with the Arcade model then the Slim. I've been teeter-tottering on selling my xbox for a long time, because I have no friends left on 360, most
of my friends have the Xbox One. All my 360 is doing right now is just collecting dust. So, I don't know what to do.

 

Ah okay. I understand if your friends are all on Xbox One. Personally, I would just keep it for nostalgia reasons ha ha. Best of luck and enjoy your Xbox One

 

As others have said. I would keep it. Personally, I consider the 360 as. The Console of the decade, but thats me.

As for price? I am looking to get a 360 Slim with a 320 GB HDD for 120 bucks US. The trade in value, last I checked was that as well with a 250GB HDD. So a slim without a HDD... I would suspect around 80 - 100 bucks.. depending on the condiction etc.

 

Don't listen to these people, the Xbox 360 is slowly dying now, it's worth upgrading to your Xbox One, don't feel left out, the Xbox One is the greatest console ever.

 

There is nothing wrong with buying an xbox one, the advice here is not to sell the 360 in the process.

As long as you know your email/password for your XBL account, you can just sign in on the Xbox One. I plan to keep my 360 because there's a ton of games I've yet to play and I want to get through them as well. I plan to get an Xbox One soon though.

If you do decide to sell your 360, just copy your info to a flash drive like someone said and then format your HDD and reset it to factory default or whatever it is. And then sell it.
