Questions about hard disk space

Okay so I have 5 Games and now im running out of disk space.. using over 70% of disk space, I am a little worried about whether I can get a hard drive upgrade to a terabyte.

Is this possible? and if so is this within the warranty and can Microsoft upgrade my Hard disk space or will they have an external HD Support like the 360 did?

    Regards

    :)

The only thing I can think about is that you may not have enough space in your Hard Disk. Check how much space you have left in your HDD and in case it's full delete something and try again. If hard disk storage is not the problem, write again here Questions about hard disk space :)

How many GBs do you have left?
Why cant Microsoft give us the hard drive capacity they advertise?
Because all hard drive manufacturers 'lie' about capacity.

It is the difference between calling a gigabyte 1,024MB or 1,000MB. Oddly enough the manufacturers and people selling the drives use the latter, as it gives a larger space.

Grabbed from elsewhere as I am poor at maths.

However we never actually get that because the operating systems use the 1,024 size. So instantly we have lost some space from the advertised drive size. How the drive is formatted also can affect how much space is usable. Then add in reserved space for the
system and even more space vanishes.

So you'll never have a hard drive with 320GB of free space because the drive would need to be bigger than 320GB in order to show you that much free space.

Currently you cannot upgrade the Hard Drive or use external storage support.

External Storage will be available "soon". Hopefully in the next couple of months.

Grabbed from elsewhere as I am poor at maths.

To a hard disk manufacturer, one KB is 1000 bytes, one MB is 1000 KB, and one GB is 1000 MB. Essentially, if a hard disk is advertised as 500GB, it contains 500 * 1000 * 1000 * 1000 = 500,000,000,000 bytes of space. The hard disk manufacturer thus advertises
the disk as a 500 GB hard disk.
However we never actually get that because the operating systems use the 1,024 size. So instantly we have lost some space from the advertised drive size. How the drive is formatted also can affect how much space is usable. Then add in reserved space for the
