Questions about a refund ticket

I filed for a refund with an agent over the phone in a two hour process. She assured me that my refund would go through. I just now got a response email from Microsoft saying that the ticket has been closed. No information as to whether the refund request
was denied or approved. Just that it was closed. What does this mean?

I am planning to call and check but if it was denied wouldn't the email specify? Thanks for the response.

I was wondering that myself, but no the game was never even opened. For about 38 days now I've been replying to the Refund team's denial emails, and posting questions in the ticket itself, but still am not getting any responses. They just seem to go
in and flip the ticket to closed again whenever I reopen it to post a question.

Please check all of your Microsoft Accounts at https://account.microsoft.com/
then go to the Payment & billing tab then check your order history.

If you have found the Gamepass subscription you may be eligible to cancel your recurring subscription and request a refund, but not all subscription purchases are eligible for a refund. If you qualify for a refund, you will see the option to cancel immediately and request a refund when reviewing your subscription status.

If you don't see your subscriptions, but you still have a charge for this one. Make sure that you’re signed in to the Microsoft account that bought the subscription. If you’re sure that you’re signed in to the correct account, check your purchase history:
