Question: Why doesn't the redeem code work on xbox.com for Xbox One?

I am just wondering why the redeem code on Xbox.com does not work for Xbox 360 or Xbox One is there a issue going on wirh it?

I reached the hotline TWICE over the phone, I'm from France so I got a french-speaking hotliner, but they have so poor french that they have trouble understanding me. It took me almost 3 minutes to have the guy on the other side spelling my email adress
correctly. 3 MINUTES !!!

He actually confirmed that the code is valid, and still unused. But I still can't download my games

Any ideas? This is really starting to be irritating, Xbox should be able to unlock content for us has WE PAID FOR THE GAMES.

Are you talking about redeeming a code on the website? If so, then on the 360 you can double check to ensure it's installing to your console by pressing the Guide button, scrolling left and choosing Active Downloads.

On the Xbox One you will need to go to the Game Store and find the game or add on that you used the code for and then Install it.

 

Hi I have trial codes for xbox live gold but everytime I enter them or scan them on my kinect it just keeps bring an error message up... A week or so ago when I was trying to

Activate these codes it kept saying that I already had a gold membership when I clearly didn't as I was unable to access online features on any games

Any ideas??

 

Trial codes do not give you full features of a gold membership but only partial and are usually limited to the game you received them with.
