Question to a preview ambassador about transfering consoles

Im looking for a preview ambassador for this question. Im in the preview program. If i want to buy a new console are there things i need to know first before i switch consoles? Or can i just buy the console and set up my account on it like normal first?

As others said, definitely don't do this. They are essentially stealing games and accessing other people's content without actually paying for any of it. Not cool.

 

For preview program issues, it's best to post in the preview forums, but yes. You can just buy the new console and set it up like normal at first. If you want to add the Insider program, just download the Insider Hub.

When you purchase your new console if you download the Xbox Insider Hub app on your new console you can then use the app to enrol your new console in the insider program. If you are no longer keeping your old console don't forget to remove it from the insider
program.
