Question regarding XBOX Cloud

Hi Everyone

My Xbox Gold is about to expire, but instead of renewing GOLD i want to get the XBOX Game Pass. My question is if i stop XBOX Gold and get Game Pass instead will that locked me out of my XBOX Cloud. I have alot of game saves on the cloud and dont want
to lose my game progress.

If you only get XBOX Game Pass does that include access to the XBOX Cloud?

As the Xbox Game Pass is essentially gold, you wouldn't lose anything. The Xbox cloud is attached to your gamertag and wouldn't go away as it is, only the games and downloads that were attached to the gold account would if you were not renewing.

The save in the cloud function is linked to your GamerTag so when you switch from Gold to Xbox Pass your saved games are stored at the GT level so they should not be lost.

Gold is not required for the cloud unless your on a 360. So it won't be effected if you lose your Gold subscription at all.
