    Question Regarding Service Interuptions


    Xbox Live is great, but the service interruptions have blocked me from accessing the service I pay for too frequently to not get so much as an acknowledgement. How many cumulative hours of Xbox Live service interruptions must I endure before I am reimbursed
    for my money spent on services that fail to deliver. I grow weary of reading the same old lines that all say the same thing "Somethings wrong, we are working on it"...

    There are many people including myself, that are just simply sitting and twiddling their thumbs waiting for our games to be playable again during these interruptions, and you can't even humor us by spending a few extra minutes explaining whats actually wrong,
    or what you are actually doing about it... Little more than a token response is all we ever see, assuring us you have top men on the case... We'll forgive me if I don't feel very assured.

    I know you stingy suits don't care about us once you have our money, believe me, I know.... all you have to do though is throw a few extra days onto our subscriptions, what would that cost you, almost nothing? At the very least, stop patronizing us with your
    token responses when something happens and give us real details, it would go a long way.

    But who am I kidding, nobody is even going to read this anyways, the status quo will continue, we'll keep giving you our money, and you'll keep pretending we're not people...

    I'm sick of it. 98% more than any other platform. Someone needs to lose their job or better yet I may be using the wrong system.

    i know. ant they're full of it when they state service has been restored. i also need to reconsider scorpio. without the tech support behind the product it might as well be garbage.

    Thanks for sharing your concerns on the forums!

    Whilst generally refunds aren't given for service interruptions, I do accept that the multiple service issues over the E3 period is not acceptable.

    It may be worth contacting the Billing department directly, and they may reimburse you with a 1-month Xbox Live, however, it is not likely.

    You can reach them here:
    support.xbox.com/.../contact-us
    then select Billing.

  5. Very true i am well and truly tired of having to visit the xbox status page too frequently and constantly checking my connection when every time the fault is on xbox live end. Really is a terrible service as of late which leaves my xbox one useless, but
    keep taking my money please its such a pleasure to be an xbox one owner.

    In all seriousness its down far too often now and if my phone or tv was down as much as this i would cancel it and demand my money back as you are simply not providing the service that you charge us for. Now i understand it may be down from time to time
    and a service that runs perfect 100% of the time is not realistic but at the moment it is an extremely sub standard service.

    I can now confirm that Xbox Billing Support can provide you with a 1-month Xbox Live code due to the amount of service interruptions recently.

    It's not just over the E3 period, there have been outages that have effected me long before that, I'm going to start making a list, maybe bring more attention to the incompetence, I don't want a refund so much as a change of the status quo, I want to feel
    like you guys want my business, and no amount of forum ambassadors will be able to convey that to me. An apology to somebody in private to save face is ***, and some representative emailing me or responding to some hard to find forum post are no different.
    Oh, but if Microsoft made a public statement that it has occasional issues and it's sorry, they might lose a shareholder or two and have to buy cheap scotch to stock their private jets with, and we couldn't have that.
