Question regarding purchasing a game on the marketplace.

Okay, so I would like to purchase a game on the marketplace via credit card.

My question is, if I purchase the game on a different credit card than the one with which I pay monthly for Xbox Live Gold. Will the charges transfer to the new credit card or stick with the old one and just purchase the game on the second card?

I can elaborate further if this was difficult to understand.

question regarding marketplace games on demand....

It usually takes some time before games are available on demand and a lot of the time the price they charge is higher than what the game cost in stores.

Fable 3 is the most recent game to be available on demand it just came out last week it was originally released on a disc in October 2010 that's 7 months I'm not sure if all games have the same amount of wait time but some games are never available on demand.

You would need to add the new credit card to your account and delete the usual credit card.

Then you can use the new one.

It should be your credit card of corse not from someone else.

You could also call support to make sure they do charge your new credit card.

You don't need to delete the old card, just mark the new one as the primary on your account. Then later on you can switch the old one back to primary if you choose to.

Thanks for reaching out to us with this question. When it comes to apps or games purchased from the 360 Marketplace, even if the app or game is free, you must have a valid card listed for purchasing listed in your Microsoft account in order to download them.

If you mean your optical disc drive stopped working because of the update I thought they had been identifying which consoles were going to be affected through Live and were offering free console replacement.
