Question regarding opening of Series X

Discus and support Question regarding opening of Series X in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; Currently living in Singapore and my Series X warranty has expired for a while now and I'm wondering if it is okay to open up my Series X to clean away... Currently living in Singapore and my Series X warranty has expired for a while now and I'm wondering if it is okay to open up my Series X to clean away the dust. If I do so, am I still eligible for sending it in for service via Microsoft when I need to? I know I have to pay about $440 if I need to service my Series X because it's out of warranty but will opening it disallow me to use this service from Microsoft?
