Question regarding Java Minecraft account being created with microsoft

To answer your question, yes, deleting an account associated to a game license will have impact. We know you really did alot of thinking about this concern and you wanted to ensure you will get to access the Xbox account that you wanted to secure. Let us check on this together and sort this out in timely manner.

So, the Mojang account that you use in visiting and logging into your Minecraft game allows you to use any type of email as long as it has a mailbox (can read and write emails). That includes email account that can be created with Microsoft domains (live.com, msn.com, outlook.com and hotmail.com). The answer to your question is yes, if you happen to have a Mojang account that has a domain (live.com, msn.com, outlook.com and hotmail.com) will be deleted and unrecoverable once the account close (How to close your Microsoft account - Microsoft Support). Otherwise, no, if your Mojang account is not yet migrated to a Microsoft account and does not have the same email domains listed above. However, if you already migrated your account to a Microsoft account, your Minecraft game license will definitely be affected because your Microsoft account now holds the license the game not an email address.

To address your transfer concern, we do not have tools to do transfer of Xbox account (GamerTag, game licenses) to another Xbox account and it is by default that those features and purchases are non-transferable to another account.

No, you cannot directly transfer your Minecraft Java account to a different Microsoft account. Each Minecraft Java account is associated with a specific Microsoft account, and it's not possible to change this association directly. The only way to play Minecraft Java with a different Microsoft account would be to create a new Minecraft Java account and purchase the game again.

I've tried from Minecraft website because Java Edition is not avaible on Microsoft Store.

Yes I can use credits on Microsoft Store, but can't find Minecraft Java Edition. I tought that Minecraft was a Microsoft's production, and that's why I sent a 25€ credit to my son on Microsoft account.

Is there a fix for this? Will Minecraft Java Editon be avaible on Microsoft Store?
