Question regarding dead zone size - Xbox Elite Series 2

It happens in every game where i can adjust deadzone. I have to set similar values (9-10 out of 100) in order to avoid stick drift so i want to know if this controller has problem or everybody have to set such big values. Left stick can have deadzone set to 0 without drifting.

Hello Mkb, this happens only with this game or with other games you try to play, have also tried to install the Xbox Accessories App update and configure the control through the App.

Having the hair triggers set to the 3rd level on the new Series 2 Elite controller already makes it as responsive as can be so adjusting the dead zones doesn't apply as they're already maxed out.

The dead zone is an area in the middle where the wheel is considered to be not turning at all. If there was no dead zone, you would have to return the wheel to the EXACT center to stop your car from turning to either size; a dead zone lets you return it
to close to the middle. If the dead zone is too large, then you have to turn the wheel a lot before your car actually starts to turn.

Faulty controller now. The only workout around is some games let you change the dead zone. Unless its an elite controller. Serise 2 has a 1 year warranty, or if its a serise 1 or all together out of warranty you can set your own dead zones.
