Question on Kinect

if possible, avoid carpets, wooden floor works best

I tried the Zoom thing. I have 3 Kinects, all in different rooms. I have one with the zoom but it dont work well cause the room is too packed. What I can tell you is, get a white wall. When you have a white wall, place the Kinect under the screen of your
tv like the lowest the Kinect tuner tell you, cant remember right now. You will also be able to play Kinect games while you sit when you do that ( sure Dance Central wont be one of those games) make sure you have no long sleeves, it pick up your moves much
better when you have your hands and a lil of the arm free.

Do the Kinect tracking, then do the Kinect ID setup for you and your girlfriend.

When you did that, the Kinect will be able to pick up your moves better. You should have nothing in the way.

You should be good to go to play even when you have the minimum room space for Kinect.

All i can tell you, go through all tuning options and voice and moves should work fine. The light should be above you or behind you. avoid sunlight when you play.

Does anybody else plan on connecting their 360, PC or other gaming console to the HDMI in port? I know that we'll be able to switch to these devices by pressing the home button and then a few more buttons on the controller, I was just wondering if and how
voice commands would end up working for it.

On another note, would this even work? Would input lag make games from a 360 or other device unplayable?
