Question on downloading.

I have a kinectless console and have it set to instant on and auto update. I am going to get the MCC and since is is rather large my question is. Can I start the download and turn off the console or do I have to leave it on ? Thanks.

Question on downloading Reach on demand

Hello, unfortuently the download will not fit onto the 4GB Internal Mmeory as Halo Reach requires about 6GB to download or install. Also if you wanted to download additional Custom Maps, Game modes or DLC that would also require more memory.

But yes Halo Reach will work on the 16GB Flash Drive as long as you have enough free space on it but certain modes or features may require a Hard Drive like mentioned above.

Also since your a Halo fan you may be intrested to know that there is going to be an Xbox 360 S Limited Edition Halo 4 Console that will include a 320GB Hard Drive, a copy of Halo 4 and custom Halo 4 Controllers.

So if you are intrested in that then I would wait If your not bothered and just want to play the games the Xbox 360 4GB will do but as previously mentioned some features may not work.

Question on downloading Reach on demand

Going by how much space my Halo Reach took when I saved it to my hard drive 6.6GB it wouldn't fit your 4GB drive. However I do believe you can save it to your flash drive if you give it enough space to hold the game and play it.

You can turn it off. If you do a hard reset (by holding down the power button for a few seconds) or unplug your console, it won't download in the background, but otherwise it will regardless of whether it's on or off.

Sure does. Everything you purchase or redeem will end up in your Download History. This can be accessed on the console under Account Management, or on Xbox.com (live.xbox.com/.../History).

yes but only one xbox can be signed in at a time

your gamesaves are stored online butdlc would still have to be redownloaded

Sorry for the double post but I couldn't find an edit button. I've read that the update at the end of the year will have cloud storage. Does that mean we'll be able to take our downloads and profiles anywhere we want to?

yes it will. when i first got mine (midnight release), i downloaded BF4, ghosts, Ryse, DR3, KI, rivals, etc while chatting with some friends. then i turned it off (using the instant on) and went to bed. Woke up and they were ready to go

The download will work the same as the disc version. So you can play it whenever, you'll still have the DLC, and the gameplay will be the same.
