    question on apps staying on


    hi there i had a question on apps staying on. when i first got my xbox one i notice you could go on you tube then press the middle button start up a game and you can switch from the two with out them cutting off. Now each time i do it i have to boot them
    back up again was the feature took off just wondering.

    No apps staying open

    Netflix is a streaming service, but you're using the app through the Xbox, therefore if Xbox live is down or having problems... its going to affect apps and games that require a online connection.

    Excalibur - Please explain why I can't watch netflix. I'm guessing I would need to be in online mode...... Everytime I go to watch, seconds later I'm back in the home screen.

    Hi,

    This feature wasn't removed, but I think sometimes if a game needs a bit more CPU usage, it may close down a few running apps. It does that to me anyway.

    I think the idea is that you wouldn't necessarily need it to snap to the dashboard, since you can just switch instantly from app to app without even exiting all the way to the dashboard.

    But I don't know if skype will stay snapped if you switch between apps. This is a good question.
