Good day!

I hasten to inform you that I have become a victim of fraud. I bought an xbox one s with the game fortnite, but I realized that play it does not have time and decided to sell on the web. I was approached by a man with a request to take a picture of the
check to make sure the purity of the purchase. then, to test that a check real he asked me write on it code (1467507201). I did everything. but he never bought it. and then a lot of appeals were from other people on the same topic and I realized that this
is some kind of deception. I investigated and found out that this way people activate bonuses in the game. now I feel cheated.

Prompt, whether the code which is in a box with the console is valid?

Is it possible to punish the fraudster who used the data of my check?

Unfortunately it is a common scam these days to do that, especially with something as high profile (and highly sought after!) as Fortnite. Sadly nothing much can be done on Xbox's end and I suspect that local law enforcement would merely listen to the
story & essentially rule it not worth investigating.

If any money was exchanged in this, then it is a matter for law enforcement, but I don't think Xbox can do anything.

Sorry to hear it. If you are trying on the console make sure the console's locale is set to UK. If you're on the website then scroll to the bottom of the page (left side) to change the websites locale.
