Question for th Experts

Ok so earlier today I was involved in a discussion that the topic was the possible termination of the 360's Live servers by the end of 2016. And practically everyone replied that if a game was backwards compatible with the One then that 360 game severs
would go from now on. I have never had impression. And if it true, then why did every 360 game I have lose their online ability the day the servers were cut off in 2010?

Honestly, until Microsoft officially announces the end of the 360 servers, no one will know exactly what will happen.

 

Yes that is true, but that wasn't the question. If a 360 title is one the BC list, does its' online servers continue after MS has cut off the 360's access to Live?

 

If it works the same way they did when they shut down servers for the original Xbox, then the backwards compatible games would no longer be able to access Live. But again, until Microsoft announces how they are going to handle that, there's really no way
to know.

 

I think this will happen but like Smwutches said till Microsoft announces this it is not gonna happen.

So therefore i don't beleve it will cause of games like COD: BLACK OPS and those that have big online multiplayer. Thanks, Ai BIG GIMMPY
