Question for Sniper Elite 3 players

Can anyone tell me if this game has the option to adjust the brightness, as the brightness in my game is glaring. Been through all the options and can see nothing to adjust it. In Display Options all I have to select from is Horizontal Margin, Vertical
Margin, V=Sync, and Set To Default. I also have the PS4 version of this game and it does have a Brightness Option. Don`t want to adjust my actual TV settings, unless absolutely necessary, as I only bought it a few weeks ago, and have just paid quite a few
quid to get it professionally calibrated. I`m almost sure I saw an option to adjust the brightness when I first installed the game, and now it seems to have disappeared. Any help with this is much appreciated.

Hi just a quick question I have two 360 games sniper elite V2 & sniper elite 3 will they both be backwards compatible so I can play them on my Xbox one in the near future ??

This is misinformation dude. This is not Sniper Elite 3. This is Sniper Elite: Nazi Zombie Army. You can't claim this to be the Sniper Elite 3. I'd laugh if somebody who reads this believe what you said, went to Walmart and asked for this game and then went home, popped it in and found out there are no zombies. Just regular Nazis. So anybody reading this, THIS IS NOT SNIPER ELITE 3.

 

Hey mate, ive just a look for you. I'm afraid your right, there doesn't seem to be any brightness settings anywhere. I even started a game and checked in game options, but nothing there mate. Sorry

 

That's really strange that you'd get such an overbloom of brightness on your TV from this game.

It sounds like ti's been professionally calibrated for watching shows but not for playing games.

If you want to change the settings but don't want to lose your Custom setting you ought to be able to find a setting in "Display" that allows you to toggle between "Natural", "Cinema", "Custom" etc....

One of these settings might play the game better for you and then when it's time to go back to watching telly just set it back to "Custom".

like Az says, you paid for custom settings, id be most annoyed if the "professional" hadn't actually saved the settings to custom

 

Delete then reinstall then alter the brightness to suit. I can't help as for where the setting is as I have the version that doesn't have screen tearing and has an option to alter the brightness.

 

Cheers for advice lads. The Pro Calibrations are indeed saved to the Custom Professional setting in my TV, and today in the post, I received a computer print-out sheet of all the calibration settings, from the guy who calibrated the TV. This way should I
ever accidentally delete the settings, I can do them all myself again. I didn't realise that was part of the calibration price. Got the picture on Sniper Elite 3 looking a lot better now, but strange the brightness setting was omitted from the Xbox One version,
yet is present in the PS4 version. Another option not included in the XB1 version is the Stereoscopic 3D option that the PS4 has. Wonder why this was left out of the XB1 version too?

 

3D is so last gen and the PS 4 does last gen at 1080p.

 

I for one want 3d in as many games as possible
