    Question for Bing Rewards' value

I've been wondering this for a while now, and I couldn't figure out where to ask it here, but I suppose this is the best place.

I have had Bing Rewards for a few years now, and I've seen it change a few times. The current change has be a little confused.

Usually, I can tell which thing is worth more for my points, but this time I can't really tell. For those who don't already have it, they have two different Microsoft Credit options, one for $3 and one for $5. The $3 one is for 290 points, and the $5 is
for 465 points. I can get about 25 points a day, at the very least, through the Bing website search and on my phone. Meaning if every month had 30 days, I can get about 750 a day.

I did all of the math and such, but I just can't seem to figure out which of the two, at least not for sure. Which one of the two is a better value? the $3 one seems like I can get $9 one month and $12 the next, yet the $5 seems to be lower than that, if
my math is right, yet earns more in a year, meaning my math could be wrong, and I can't figure out where.

Anyone have a clue? This could also help others having the same question.

    :)

    Microsoft Points discontinued?

There have been rumors that points would be converted to actual cash value for a while. For those that have 30 or 60 points to spend, sign up for Xbox Rewards and Bing Rewards to earn more points to spend. You can have 5 accounts on Bing and earn 100 points
    per day.

    free ms points

While it's not instantly, Bing Rewards offers MS Points as a Bing Rewards points option. 125 Bing Rewards points for 100 MS points, 500 Bing Rewards points for 400 MS points, though the Bing Rewards "cost" goes down as you collect more Bing Rewards points.

    Question for Bing Rewards' value

Your math is way off. Last time I checked which was 3 hours ago, a $3 gift card was 330 credits if you were GOLD level, 465 for a $5 credit. So obviously you can tell which is the better value. Even if the $3 card was 290 credits you can still see the better
value. At NO time has bing rewards ever given you 750 credits per day unless you had a friend or two join up on that particular day and reach silver level. As of right now the most credits possible to earn in a single day is around 26. 15 for PC searches and
10 for mobile, with one additional added for a misc search. This of course is the base model and doesn't take into account double credit days or months that are sometimes offered, or days where more than 1 misc search is authorized.

Oops, a bit of a typo at the top. I meant 750 a MONTH. Not a day. If it was a day, then I would be one happy camper! Question for Bing Rewards' value :p

As for my math, I rounded down to the MINIMAL as to what I can get for sure, which doesn't include the misc things that are worth one point each, or the events where they allow you to get 30 points instead of 15 once a week. There can be as many as one of
those, to even about four of them a day, depending on what they put there.

I am a Gold, since I've been using Bing for a few years now, meaning I get the price for each reward bumped down a little bit, so it is 290 for the $3 and 465 for the $5 one.

And the $3 IS for 290 for Gold members, 24hrs. I have the webpage up right now, and the max price for it is for 310 for everyone else. Though maybe the price is different depending on the region. I live in Georgia, so maybe the price is more, for some odd
reason even though it's through the Internet, in your area?

Anyway, I would actually like to see some math. It's not like I don't trust the answer, it's just... well, trolls are annoying, and since this is concerned with money for my Xbox live account, I would rather not want to risk losing some over some troll,
you know? It doesn't have to be as explained as mine is, since I probably went over board with the details (I asked one of my friends and gave the near exact same details, and I gave her a big headache in a few minutes! )

    Here is my math.

Let's say there are 30 days in every month, for sure, while Feb's missing days would be made up and then some by the months that has 31 days. Anyway, multiply 30 by 25, which is the absolute MINIMUM that is guaranteed through searches, incase they forget
to give the extra one or two points a day, and it goes to 750. That is how much I can get in a month (not a day! Boy, I wish I got that every day! lol). Again, I'm rounding down, so any extra points will not be counted, to keep it simple and to give a little
extra 'breathing room', persay, for the next redeemed item.

Now let's divide 750 by 290 first, the $3 one. I can redeem it 2.58 times a month, meaning I can potentially get $6 added to my account one month, and $9 the next, over and over again.

Now let's divide 750 by 465, worth $5. With this, I can redeem it 1.61 times a month. This means I can potentially get $5 one month, and then $10 the next month, over and over again.

With that math down... wouldn't this mean that, in the end, I will get the exact same amount of money, no matter which one I decide to buy?

Also, if anyone still doubts that the $3's price isn't 290 for me, I can get a screenshot of it as proof if need-be.

I have also done the math of how much a dollar costs for the $3 one. A single dollar costs 96.6 points, rounded down of course, it was 96.6 repeating. Meaning if you multiply that by 3, you will get, close enough, to 290. Add it two more times, and it goes
over 465, totaling up to 483.2 points. I am unsure if I did the math wrong on this one, but... well, that's what I got. If this is wrong, then feel free to say so. This last bit was just something that hit me as I was typing this.

So, if there are any math-wizes out there that would like to help, I would greatly appreciate it! I'm pretty good at math, but since this is about money, I figured getting a second opinion couldn't hurt.

You are absolutely correct with the 290 price for the $3 card. Seems as if they changed it. A few weeks ago the value was totally *** up as buying an amazon gift card was the better value. i think you are totally over thinking this. Its memorial day and
bbq time so Ill check back tomorrow

Also you can have up to 4 different Bing reward accounts per IP address. I have my main account and 3 dummy ones. I can get $25 a month if I do them everyday.
