    Question about Xbox Media Player


    Is it possible to switch to some sort of list view inside of Xbox Media Player? I love having the app and how well it seems to work, but the layout is terrible for my taste. Like many others, I have a huge TV connected to my One. Instead of being able
    to see full titles for each of the videos on my network, I am stuck with a thumbnail and overset text that wraps in only a couple of displayed lines. This works fine for videos that have a word or two in the title, but it sure would be nice to see full titles
    and scroll quickly to where you want to go. As it is, you have little blobs of videos and can only scroll right.

    I would love to be able to switch to a list view and see full titles on my screen. Is there any way to accomplish this?

    Xbox one headset for media room

    I posted 2 separate questions on this forum... one about how to use a headset within a large media room when the equipment is inside a closet inside the media room and the 2nd question was about how to use a Kinect in the same environment.

    Basically, both questions are about how to use the accessories for an xbox when the xbox is inside a media room closet which sits inside a large media room

    Simple question about Media player preview

    I'm not sure about the media player as I haven't tried using it, but one trick I use to listen to music is to snap Internet Explorer while using Pandora to listen to music while playing games. YMMV

    So far as I know there is no option to switch to a list view in the app. However, you can post to the feedback forums with this request and perhaps it will be added in the future.

    Yes with the media player app it's possible to stream music and video from a computer or USB 1-3.0 storage devices.

    Old question luckily a ton of features have been added since the Xbox Ones release.

    By now the media player app does not support snap mode and also stops playing when minimized. 'Til now it's just a preview of the app so hopefully these features will be added in the final release.
