Question about xbox live region

Hi, my xbox 360 is US and my gamertag is also US. The region I set in my console system is US too. Next week, I need to move to Asian for half a year. So if I change my region IN THE CONSOLE SYSTEM (not the gamertag), will I have the priority to connect
to ASIAN players for better connection? Thanks

Account region and xbox!

Hi, i have my italian xbox in Italy, and i have to take here in Australia.

I have a question about account region, xbox region and live region.

I need to don't change the xbox region and account ragion but i need to buy a gold(WW) and M$p, for the last, what msp region i have to buy!? European or Australian!?

The second question is about the new app's like mediaset premium, if i keep my italian region on xbox and account, can i see and use all features of the app!?

Question about regions.

Game disks are not coded for regions for the Xbox One and the language should be based on the language that your Xbox One console is set to under Settings > System > Language and Location.

You can certainly change the console's region to Asia and it will improve some things that have to do with Asian requirements.

However, if you leave your gamertag set to US you may have issues purchasing and downloading items from the marketplace as the IP you will be using in Asia could block some items from you.

You could also change the region of your gamertag to match the country you are going to and then switch it back when you return.

1. You are allowed to purchase content from a different country. But you'll also have to purchase a different Xbox since there are so many games that are region locked. Let's use Japan as an example. If you're console can only play NTSC, it will not
play NTSC-J. Unless the games are Region-Free. (PAL, NTSC, NTSC-J)

2. Migrating your account is only optional. If you move from country A to B and want all content from B to be added to your main XBL account, then you can migrate your account. If not, you can simply create a new account.

3. From my understanding of things, VPN services are not allowed. You can keep your previous console, have all of that content from A on that console. And from B, you can have the content on there.

The games that are free in those countries are free because of differences between the Xbox LIVE service.

If a game is free in a other country it could be for promotion or anything else.

If you start to download them and change your region, you get in trouble.

I don´t know why you are asking this.

VPN is also a two sided blade.

Just because people do it and get away with it does not mean they won´t get in trouble one day.

If you want a honest answer on all your questions, do not do what you asked.

Of course it´s different if you pay for the games.
