Question about Xbox App on Windows 10

Thank you for replying - but that link is for mobile devices specifically, not Windows 10 devices, which is what the OP was asking about.

Currently, the Xbox Console Companion streaming still works on Windows 10. The reason OP was asking about the Xbox app on Windows 10 is because the Xbox Console Companion app is prompting users to install the Xbox app, which does not have streaming support.
I know that there is supposed to be a new Console Streaming app on Windows 10 later this year, but it is not available yet. I was just clarifying that for the OP and anyone else asking the same question about the new app, since I came here with the same question.

Which app are you talking about. If it's Xbox or the Xbox companion app on Windows 10, just right click the icon of the app, and select uninstall (only works on latest version of Windows 10)

Are you speaking of the Xbox Accessories app? Just search for "Xbox Accessories" in the Windows 10 Store and you can use that app to configure your Elite controller for your Windows 10 device.

Thanks for reaching out! In reference to your question, Xbox app and games are updated periodically. The Xbox app will automatically update itself through the Microsoft Store app on Windows 10, but there are occasions when a game or an app may fail to update.
In such cases, you’ll have to manually update your games and apps to get to the latest version on the PC you are using.

I second the statement as well the aforementioned links are not addressing the question at hand. Which is how does one stream from their local CONSOLE to their Windows 10 PC in the "New Xbox App for Windows 10" which is replacing the "Xbox Console Companion"
app?
