    Question about Xbox 360

I plan on selling my 360 later to get an xbox one. I got 10 games on disc and over 2 dozen on the hard drive. See, I want to sell the system with all the games, plus a couple controllers, a kinect, wireless adapter and a headset. But what I am concerned
is the games on the hard drive with a different profile, especially a possible gold profile, not working and my customer being upset. Can a person create an different membership but still have access to my games? I do intend of deleting my saves and accounts
    on netflix, hulu and YouTube.

    :)

  2. 2 Questions about Xbox 360?

    1. Yes, as long as it is an official Xbox HDD made for the 360s.

    2. Depends. NTSC / PAL / NTSC-J. You would need to look up each countries encoding and see if they match.

  4. Question about Xbox 360

No, they won't have access to your digital games. The games are tied to your account, not the Xbox.

You cannot sell digital games without selling your GamerTag. Both are against the ToU/CoC

DO NOT ADVERTISE THE DIGITAL GAMES. Tell them, you may have digital games available, here's how to check to see which ones will likely be available still. This list will change if you do a License Transfer.

Sign out and delete your profile from the 360 you plan on selling.

Sign in with a (different) Silver Account of your choice.

Disconnect your Xbox from the Internet (turn your router off)

Try to play the digital games you have with said silver account. Make notes of which games work.

Now connect back to the internet. Check the games that worked before, make sure they work still.

If you are planning on doing the Lic Tfr, do so now. Repeat the testing process. This next list will be significantly shorter, and will tend to be older games. Some games will continue to work after the Lic Tfr, most won't.

I would do the Lic Tfr regardless, you may need to do one for your X1 in the future. Remind the next owner that the content will be lost if he deletes it. I wouldn't make the digital games an advertised selling point, just leave it in there as a nice surprise.

Personally, I'd just play it safe and format the hard drive before selling it. It's risky doing it any other way.

  9. When I sold my 360 I formatted my HD after I moved all of my games to my newer 360. You probably wont get much for the console and all the games, I'd say just keep it. Digital media is non transferable to other accounts so just delete all digital media.

  10. Even after formatting/wiping clean a hard drive, the information on it can still be accessed by someone using the correct software. I doubt anyone buying a used console would go to such extremes though. And as previously stated, digital content is not transferable.

Here in the UK, 2nd hand 360 console are still going for good money as a lot are after the S model as opposed to the newer E model.
