Question about who the Payee is for the XBox One Digital Store

when i buy an xbox one game using my debit card, it shows up on the statement as "#### Debit Card Purchase Microsoft 800-6427676". where #### = the last 4 digits of the card number. so i would guess he should use Microsoft as the name.

also when paying for xbox live it comes up the same, except it has a different contact number at the end. (Microsoft 800-4699269)

When you purchase a digital item from the Xbox store you are purchasing it from Xbox (a division of Microsoft). Your father should see the name of the company reflected on his credit card statement at the end of the month.

Sorry to hear about the lack of Day One Edition games out there to Purchase online and digitally. It could be that they may have run out online or not yet up for sale digitally for all who want just digital libraries. The stores may still have Day one editions
on hand though. I do suggest if your hard pressed to get your Day One editions to call your local store and see what is on stock. May not be a bad Idea to continue to check the Market place on the Xbox One and online at xbox.com and see if anything pops up.

Not to be rude, but as an ambassador, you should probably have looked that info up first, ngoc. Your posts came off as condescending and dismissive to someone who already knows all about the different infrastructures of the different systems, who watched
the E3 conference, and who isn't actually talking about the Windows 10 "play anywhere" feature. I'm talking about the Xbox 360 Backwards Compatibility for Xbox One which launched yesterday for the preview team and will launch soon to the general public. The
target will be for 100 titles to be available to start with in September, with more being released over time.

So, your last post essentially re-states my original question. The Backwards Compatibility FAQ states:

"If you want to purchase these games, you can buy them digitally from the store on your Xbox 360 console,
on xbox.com (search for titles in Xbox 360 games) or from your local retailer."

Which brings it back to my original question:
how is one supposed to buy the qualifying digital titles from the Xbox.com store (just like we can do with Xbox One games, without having to attach and use a credit card), if the 360 side of Xbox.com won't accept Microsoft Currency?

I'm with those who have said this question is not being answered. Let me lay it out simple.

The Game has a core version and two current DLC's. The new, 3rd, DLC launches tomorrow.

According the Bungie, this DLC is available to preorder as a digital download here and now. The Xbox store further proves this is true for Xbox One users.

The gig is supposed to be that if someone owned the DLC 1 and 2, you could preorder the digital download for $40.00. Again, go look at the store and you'll see you can for the Xbox One. Why are 360 users getting shafted?
