    Question about the Youtube app.


    2 years and have never had a problem watching Youtube video's, until this past week.

    15 mbps net speed? - Check.

    Yet when trying to watch Youtube via the xbox 360. It want load the videos. Not even a 35 second video.

    So my question is. What gives?

    I tried deleting, and reinstalling the Youtube app and it's exactly the same.

    Why do I have a blank profile pic & and my email address being displayed instead of my YouTube account name? This is stupid!

    i know the app. is a free download on the xbox 360. other than a gold 12-month subs. are there any other fees at all? which apps. have fees?

    Question about the Youtube app.

    Perhaps YouTube is having trouble loading the videos onto your 360? Perhaps your Internet took a dive for a bit? There are a few things that it could be, but without anymore knowledge, it is hard to guess what the problem is. I just got done watching
    2 videos on the One's YouTube app and didn't encounter any difficulties.

    Nets doing fine. Like I said. 15 mbps and on the PC YT is doing what its supposed to do. But via the 360 it will not load a single video.

    Reset the wireless, deleted and reinstalled YT, and even reset the connection on the console. All to no avail.

    May I ask what time of day this is happening??? Or is it just not working at all??

    During "rush hours" or, if other people use the home network at the same time could effect performance. I use that App a lot and at some times during the day it just doesn't perform that well...

    If I ever have slow loading, I just do a xbox live connection test as it usually opens up my internet a bit more. Has helped me open my nat settings from strict to open many times in CoD games, should help with YouTube as well.

    I have tried it every day, including today (6/7/14) going on two weeks now. Nothings changed..

    If Xbox Support don't get it fixed soon, then my next planed purchase will be a stand alone box for streaming Youtube, Netflix video's/apps etc.

    XBL:Gold runs out in November, so between now and then about all I personally use my 360, and XBL:Gold for now is downloading free games.
