    Question about the Wireless Display (preview) Application


    Hey anyone tried the Wireless Display (preview) app?

    I can connect to it from my Surface over WI-FI but from my Windows 10 desktop (not using WI-FI) it never sees the Xbox One.

    Does this feature ONLY work over WI-FI? I wouldn't have though it mattered, just as long as the devices are on the same LAN.

    I could test this out by unplugging the network cable from the Xbox and putting it on WI-FI, but for day to day use that's not my preference.

    wireless display (miracast)

    I have PREVIEW but I can not find the wireless display app (miracast) to download.

    Has anyone been able to install this app recently?

    Is there any similar application?

    XBOX PREVIEW INVITE PLEASEEEEE!

    Wireless Display feature? I'm in the preview program and the only wireless display feature that's on the Xbox One is the ability to stream videos from your mobile phone to the Xbox One (which then goes to your TV)

    If its that feature your talking about its on the Xbox One, you don't need to be part of the preview program to use it.

    . . . same here when the app is launched the screen becomes black and after a view seconds goes back to the xbox one home screen. i tried uninstalling, rebooting console, and reinstalling wireless display (preview) app and that did not resolve the issue.
    Really hope someone from product group support takes notice of this issue and resolves it as w/o this you have to go buy hardware to enable miracasting phone and tablet screens onto console connected big screen.
