Discus and support Question About the New 3.5 mm Controller in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; Okay so I have a pair of the old gen Astro A50s and when i used the stereo adapter i had to turn the chat all the way up so i wouldnt hear the stereo...     Question About the New 3.5 mm Controller


    Okay so I have a pair of the old gen Astro A50s and when i used the stereo adapter i had to turn the chat all the way up so i wouldnt hear the stereo volume and would only hear the Astro Dolby Digital. With the new 3.5 mm is there a way to turn the chat
    all the way up like i could do before?

    Will Razer Kraken Pro Work On New Controllers?

    Razer Kraken Pro 2015 headset is the PC version and they have a 3.5 mm jack so yes they should be compatible with the new xbox one 3.5 mm controller.

    Xbox One Stereo Headset--Does it require the adapter?

    Since you are using a 3rd party controller it doesn't have a square plug only a 3.5 mm plug. There are no adapters from the square to 3.5 mm.

    Yes there is a the option in your controller setting with the new 3.5 mm controller allows you to change chat and sound volume..

    Was this part of a Console Bundle? Also when was this purchased? As mentioned in "Xbox One controller and headset compatibility"

    "As of June 2015, new Xbox One Wireless Controllers will include a 3.5-mm port so users can connect a compatible 3.5-mm audio jack directly to the controller."


    If your controller does not have the 3.5-mm audio jack then it is possible that it is an older model.
