    And I know I have to restore the factory settings but if I do this is what I will not lose my current level in my games? For example level +100 on gta 5 ...

    i ended up resetting my xbox network settings back to factory. Immediately after I selected the network in question, it was successful. just a thought. I had tried to use an ethernet cable as well before doing this and had no luck until I reset my xbox
    factory settings.

    Anyone having issues turning on XB1 right now?

    What do you mean by hard resetting? Restore to factory default? I can't access the settings menu.

    no you will not lose your progress.

    In GTA the online level is stored on the servers.

    Other games have cloud saves, so don't worry about your gameprogress.

    If you want to factory reset I recommend you click, save games and apps, because it will give you two options. If you have an Xbox account you will have to sign back in but anything on that account will not be lost. You will not loose you Fortnite skins
    or games as long as you keep them when restarting. You do not loose your gold because it is connected to your account.

    No. Factory resetting the console does not remove anything tied to your account. You may just have to redownload stuff.
