Question about region in game on Xbox

I have Chinese Genshin Impact account. My Xbox account region is Serbia, my Xbox console region is set to Turkey (no Serbia in the list). How can I play Genshin Impact Chinese version on my Xbox? Should I create Chinese Xbox account? Will I be able to login to it on my European console? Will it region lock console to China?

Hi Anjina2311, my name is Joel, I'm here to help you with any problems or questions you may have.

Anjina2311, you can only use games available for your current connection region, which is determined by the IP detected by the system, changing the account or console region will not solve the unavailability of a game.

Microsoft also recently updated its terms of service.

"You agree not to access or use material or Services which are illegal or not licensed for use in the country from which you access or use such material or Services, or to conceal or misrepresent your location or identity to access or use such material or Services."

Anjina2311, I'm sending this because it clearly states that you can't do what you're trying to do, creating a Chinese account won't allow you to use this game in Chinese since your connection region is outside of Chinese territory. And changing the region to try to evade a restriction will result in the consequences indicated in the Microsoft Terms of Service.

Microsoft Terms of Service are not negotiable or evadeable, doing so will result in penalties on your account and device.
