    Hi,

    I was wondering if anyone could help me verify an answer to my question I have about being able to re-downloading games on Xbox One? I was thinking about buy a digital version of a game coming out later this year but never have ever brought an Xbox One
    game digitally before. So, I was doing some research on digital Xbox games and found this

    answer     to one of the questions, I think maybe what I wanted to know but I'm not fully sure. So, before I buy this digital game, I was wondering "Will I be able to re-download the game again without paying (for it again) if something would happen
    to my Xbox One or if I would end up buy a new one a few year from now?    " I was wondering because I have never brought a digital game from Xbox before and always brought physical copies of games, I wanted. Also I was thinking having a digital copy
    of a game would be better in case I lost my physical disc but was worry about losing the digital game forever if my Xbox One broke or need replaced and would have to buy the game digitally again. Can anyone please verify that you can re-download digital
    games on Xbox that you brought, if something happens to your Xbox One or decide to replace your Xbox with a new one?

    I just re-downloaded digital on 2 Xbox Ones (120gigs). lucky I have Unlimited Downloading through my ISP.

    Anything you purchase can be redownloaded again for free from your download history. Even if you don't get a new system, but you just delete a game to make storage space, you can redownload it later. Once it's removed, it's listed in your Games and Apps
    as "Ready to Install"

    Can I download previously purchased games on a different Xbox One?

    Sorry if this is a dumb question, but I don't know much about Xbox. A family member used to have an Xbox One but an old friend "borrowed" it and never gave it back. I wanted to get him a replacement one as a gift but I wanted to make sure that he would be able to re-download previously purchased digital games that he has on his account. Thanks for the help!
    All purchased content(digital) will be linked to the mc acc used for the purchase to be downloaded on all compatible devices for your enjoyment. Just log into the acc and download

    To clarify, I was talking about games I installed FROM THE DISK to the harddrive, not games purchased from xbox live as digital downloads. I know I don't have to re-download (other than their licenses) any of the digital content I purchased.
