Question about preview program Halo 5 Beta access & forums

Hey, so I was just recently invited into the Preview Program (like a day after the H5 beta invites went out) and just wondering. Are those codes only being sent to people that were enrolled into the program prior to that point?

And also, is there someone I can contact about getting access to the preview forums? I don't seem to currently have access to those.

If this is the wrong section, I do greatly apologize!

Been invited to Preview Program several times but no message or email

I have been invited to the Preview Program multiple times but have not received an email or Xbox Live message, I also can't access the Preview forums.

I was invited before for the Halo 5 beta but forgot to join the program and I received a message then that has since expired.

I was going to say the same thing GrowlingYapper. lol. Last night the early Halo 5 beta is announced for Preview program members, now the forum is flooded. Frankly I've been on the Preview program and quit long ago. Not worth the hassle.

 

Hi Myth! No apologies necessary, we've got your back. FYI, even if it was in the wrong spot, the mods here are great about directing you to the right spot, no one gets upset.

As for the H5 beta invites, yes, those were initially only sent to people already enrolled in the program, because it was specifically for an extra-early access which happened this past weekend and only involved Preview Members. You could ask on the preview
forums about the MAIN beta which starts on the 29th, if you don't have the Master Chief Collection.

On that subject, usually it takes 3-5 business days for a user to be granted preview forum access aftwr accepting the invite. So, the codes went out on Friday, and if you got into the Preview Friday or Saturday, you probably will have access by the end of
the week.

That said, sometimes a user gets "missed" or delayed during busy times (like the holidays.) If you haven't gotten in by Friday, feel free to respond here or PM me, and I can post yourname to the preview registration forum!

 

Another option for you if you don't get access to the forums is to find a post from UrbanizedTree and send him a pm by clicking on the envelope icon underneath his post. He is part of the preview forums support team and can fix your tag so you have access.

 

I recently applied for the dash board preview. i received a message and accepted the registration for the preview. ive done a couple of the surveys and such but does that mean i am officially accepted into the dash board preview program? i ask because i
have not received any invites to the Halo 5 beta and i was wondering if i would get codes even though i do not own the Master Chief Collection yet. is the official beta for everyone or just HMCC owners? thank.

 

The early access to the beta is over. Currently there is another beta for Halo 5 but only those who've purchased the game have access to it.
