Question about Nat Type...

Hey everyone, just a little question regarding my Nat Type. I forwarded all required ports on my router. When i check my Nat Type it says moderate. On to my question: When I´m logging into BO3 my Nat Type is open. How is this possible? Is ist possible that
my xbox displays something wrong?

NAT Type

My NAT type is not working, I just got a new modem from Comcast, and now the NAT type is unavailable. Any suggestions?

NAT question.

I don't know alot about this stuff so here is my question. My NAT type has always been open but this morning it says moderate and it also says this service is havng issues gaming and social. The part that confuses me is how and why did my NAT type change?
What do I do about it?

I would recommend that you power cycle your console first. If it turns out your NAT type says moderate here is a helpful guide to get an open NAT type.

If none of that is relevant my best guess is that you don't have all of the console ports open but do have the specific game related ports open. See:

I personally don't forward any ports. I use UPnP with a static/reserved IP address and my NAT type is open.

Alrighty, updated my Firmware (Was out of date by a year lolol), corrected the port forwarding info (It was wrong), and had it set up on the DMZ already. Lets see if it works now.

Hey. Just make sure that you used a static IP address outside the range of your DHCP server to avoid IP conflics or where it gives the IP address to another device on the network. e.g DHCP range: 192.168.1.100 - 200 best Static IP to use is 192.168.1.85
since you are sure that it won't be given to any other devices. If all else fails please use at own risk go with DMZ with the correct Static IP address as well. cause seems like your console was not set to a static IP address.
