Question about MCC Digital Download release time

According to the Xbox Live Store, "IT WILL NOT BE PLAYABLE UNTIL 12:01 AM EST ON THE RELEASE DATE."

Does this mean the game isn't released by timezone--but, rather, released based on EST time? In other words, if I live in the PST zone, will I be able to play the Digital Download at 9pm PST (midnight EST)?

Quick question about digital copies

I purchased the Xbox One Halo MCC bundle from walmart yesterday and just now found out the MCC is a digital copy. My download speed is roughly 10Mbit/s, and the digital copy is 60gb, so I'll obviously be downloading it for a couple days most likely.

My question is, can I play a physical game (IE. Dragon Age) WHILE downloading MCC from the marketplace?

And one more question I just thought of, I recall that you can play a game while it downloads, but just how does that work? Like for MCC, could I play the entire Halo 1 when that part is done downloading while 2, 3, and 4 are still downloading?

 

Is it possible to get a refund on digital pre-orders from the store?

Pre-ordered MCC the other day and after reading about some people having different final download sizes (myself being one of them) am starting to get a little bit worried that my download might be messed up and wondering if anyone knows if it's possible
to get a refund on a digital preorders if I give them a call? While I'm happy to go digital for a game like this, with my slow internet to find out at midnight at the time of release that my download is corrupted and I'm forced to do a 60gb download (about
36-50 hours that would take) would be one of the biggest hype killers possible. I'm tempted to just get it at a midnight launch and download the day one patch and have it ready once I'm back home and free the evening of release day but just unsure whether
Microsoft allow refunds for digital preorders.

 

Correct. Goes by your time zone. That's how the new Call of Duty was.

 

I believe the standard release is 12:01 ET. So, you can technically play it early in other time zones--that is my understanding.

 

if it's COD then like my brother you will be able to play it at 11:00pm CT

 

If I remember correctly, my buddy got the digital download for Destiny. He's from California and I'm from Ohio, he was unable to play when I could. He had to wait until it was midnight in his time zone. It should be the same for Halo: MCC
