Question about HDD and managing game saves

Excuse me if this has been discussed. When uninstalling games from the HDD, does the game save still exist on the console or just as a cloud save? I just uninstalled Wolfenstein and it appears the save is gone as well. That feels a little counterintuitive.
Like I should have access to my saves whether or not the game is on the drive, similar to the 360.

Thank you, but unfortunatly they're only talking about one save for one gamertag..

I'm searching how to manage all saves of one gamertag, in order to erase the last one on this game and get the previous one (and not erase all saves for this game and have to start from beginning...)

The save should still be on there.

The game deletion removes only the game; the save is separate, but the way to find the save is this:

Go to My Games & Apps, highlight Wolfenstein (which you cannot do), press Menu, select Manage Game and the game save will be on the right.

However, if you played whilst online, the game save is also backed up to the cloud, so next time you play Wolfenstein (even if on another console) it will be able to sync from there if there is not a local copy present.

You cannot manage your HDD . X1 auto manages the HDD. Everything is stored in the cloud. The only thing you can do is install/unisntall games and apps when the system recognizes that need space. The only way to manage your saves in games is via in game
if support that function.

Sounds like corrupted data file in your memory.

Try going to settings, systems, storage, select hdd the game in question is saved on. find the game and delete it. remember to save any character save files on a memory stick incase you lose them. then restart your game and see if the content in question
is resolved.

I don't know about copying your saves to a computer hdd but if a brand new xbox hdd is out of the question maybe you can buy a specialized Microsoft flashdrive with 16gb to relocate some of your saves. You'll still have to spend some cash but it is a lot
cheaper than buying a new hdd.

Thanks very much for the answer,God bless you !! But I have one more question, the save games of the other persons (which add them as family) will be saved automatically both of cloud and hdd, or only hdd, i mean if I uninstall one game, the only save game
which has saved will be mine ??
