    Question about gift card for xbox live Gold.


    We put card code in console. a) do I have to create an EA account -- I have the game disk. b) why does the gift card not show as an asset in my Microsoft Xbox account?

    XBOX Live Gift Cards

    There’s Xbox gift cards, which can be spent on anything in the store, and then there are Xbox Live subscription cards. If you bought a card specifically for Gold, then it’s just for that. I would go back to the store and exchange it for Xbox gift cards.

    My another question is that, How to recognize the xbox live silver card and xbox live gold cards? Is the silver card still available.

    Can i use xbox gift card to buy a gold membership?

    You'll need an EA account if the game is an EA game and requires online access. When you go here does the subscription show as active? If not try the code again to see if it adds properly.
    You can redeem codes directly on the site here.

    There is xbox live game pass gift cards same with xbox live gold gift cards. Currency gift cards can't really play for subscription payments.
