Question about Games with Gold X360 backwards compatibility

I understood that all Xbox 360 games offered through Games with Gold were compatible with Xbox One. I recently purchased Ace Combat: **** Horizon, but it is not showing as "ready to install" on my Xbox One. When I check the game in the store, it does not
indicate it is backwards compatible (shouldn't that be "forward compatible"?). It was only 5 bucks, but I feel like I was misled. I do have a couple of 360s to play it on, but I really only use those as media centers (since Xbox One really doesn't do that).

Not all X360 games are backward compatible with X1.

Ace combat isn't games with gold you have to looks at the backward compatiblitiy titles list

It would be backwards because it would be working on next systems

 

Ace Comat Assault Horizon is not a backwards compatible game and it was never a few game with Games With Gold.

 

Ace Combat Assault Horizon is available on the Deals with Gold (used to be Deal of The Week). This is not Games with Gold. As previously stated it is currently not backward compatible. keep checking the back compat pages here
