Question about games localization

So, I wanted to replay FO3 and New Vegas but the games I currently own have a terrible localization.

I considered buying them again after changing the console region to US/UK, but apparently you need to have dollars and pounds on your credit card for that to work.

Is there a country in the EU in which such games have not been localized, and thus zenimax released the english version there? Like, Romania, or Poland or Greece?

I understand that i could buy the physical copies from the UK, but the used ones have the price they had on day1 :/

Because as mentioned you took the risk

You cant change the region nor the language WITHOUT Changing your account region rebuying the content

Redownloading the content DOESNT change the content nor localization

Xbox live regions are NOT based on continent.

It is based on your country as stuart mentioned changing your account region to get content you arent supposed to will cause download issues

Alright, i tried with the greek market and it worked. I can now play the english version. The price didn't change, it's really just a technical thing.

Nevermind. I got the main game but i cannot get the dlcs. I switched back the region after downloading the game to see if the language changed for some reason. Maybe the store needs time to update the console region? I'll try again later.

Either that or the system noticed that i purchased something from the greek market and now it is trying to stop me from doing it again. Which is ridiculous since greece is in the eu, they use the € as well and as i said before, the price didn't change. I
can go to greece whenever i want without producing a single document to the almost non existent border, but i cannot buy on the greek microsoft store. Come on, give me a break.

No dice. I can't even refund the main game. I got so close but i ended up giving microsoft free money. You can't win against corporate boys, lmao.

It's not recommended that you change your account region to anything other than the one you live in. It can cause downloading issues (Fallout 3 is region locked so you wouldn't be able to download it if your account region doesn't match your physical
location). It can also be seen as trying to exploit the system which violates the terms of service.

lf I change region and then install my localized copy nothing changes, the store recognizes the localization and delivers the localized version.

And as far as i stay within the old PAL region, i should be fine, both technically and "legally".

Beside, I'm trying to work around a corporate [mod remoed] up. If bgs gave us the option to freely change languages, or if the Microsoft store would download the version of the game that matches the console language, i wouldn't need to go as far as to buy
(again) the game on the romanian store, would I.
