    Question about gamer tag change


    Hey there.

    i recently payed to change my gamer tag, it all cleared and everything seemed fine. But then when i joined new clubs, and even the old clubs i joined before the name change still showed my old name on their roster.

    Also, when i'm playing battlefield 1, when i'm in the game it shows my new tag, but when the game finishes and the scoreboard and highlights for the game appears, it still shows my old tag.... What is this??

    Some parts have updated it and some haven't. Will it eventually change on all these things like clubs and at the end of games? or am i stuck with 2 names for the rest of my gamer life?

    Any help would be appreciated

    Help with changing gamer tag

    i want to change my gt to TidalSnow but someone else has already got it and I don't want to replace one of the letters with numbers so if someone could suggest how I change it up a bit to use it that'd be great.

    I've tried it with a space between as Tidal Snow but someone's got that too.

    Today I lost my love of Microsoft

    Last time my Son changed his gamer tag it allowed him the first change for free. That was about 3 years ago now so maybe they have stopped that now. If you have never changed it before it might be worth asking the question about 1st change of gamer tag
    for free.

    The tag system is in use on other Microsoft services as well. So even if it's not being used on the Xbox, it could be in use elsewhere. But because it's still on Microsoft's servers, there is no way to use it.

    If it's still on the servers, but inactive, no. The tag cannot be in use on the servers at all.
