Question about game of year editions.

So when you get a game of the year that comes with a disc 2 that has all the dlc on it, does the dlc get added to your account when you install it from the disc, like if you bought it the game normally and then bought the dlc after.

Thanks for clarifying. About that, yes once you installed the second disc. If that is where all the DLC is associated you will see it on the download list as well on the process of installation. Once you sign in your Xbox gamertag then that would be the profile where it will be associated.

With regards to your question, if you get the game via disc with a DLC normally it will came with a 25 digit code for you to redeem on your account. This will then allow you to get the DLC for the game.

It depends on how the DLC came, if it came digitally then once you sign in your account on a specific game then you will have the option to redeem it on your account. Note: There are some DLC's where you need to meet specific conditions in game such as completing a mission, certain level, etc.

Yea I get the code part, but say for example Fallout 3 and New Vegas GOTY editions come with 2 discs, one for the game itself, and the other has all the dlc on it. I'm asking if I install the content from the second disc that has the dlc on it, will it be attached to my account.
