Question about extra memory for my Xbox One console.

My Xbox One has pathetic memory and i am forever juggling which games i can have on my hard drive at any time. And considering how long it can take some games to reinstall onto my console this is so very annoying. So i know i need extra memory, but i am
unsure what to buy. Ideally i want at least 2TB extra memory, can anyone suggest a product which will suit my needs and if you have one already, tell me your opinions.

Received a New Console Today

I have one more question. I use a memory card as well as my HDD on my old arcade system for game saves. With the new console having no slots for memory cards, how can I go about transferring the data on them to the new console. Should I buy a USB stick?

Mom question about memory unit installed on Xbox 360

My older son, who is away in the Marine Corps, installed an extra memory unit to my 9 y/o son's Xbox 360. Was it put inside? Please don't laugh at me, I know nothing of this

I am selling the 360 to get Xbox One for his 10th bday. I don't want to be stupid if ppl ask me about the memory unit... Help

This is mine. It's a 1TB hard drive. Just plugged it in (at the rear USB port), Xbox One saw it and configured it for use. The whole process was extremely quick.
That particular drive has been discontinued now so if you buy a Toshiba, it would be one of the 'Canvio' models now.

Best to go with one of the big names in the hard drive business such as Toshiba, Western Digital, Seagate, Samsung and Sony.

Pick on of those top name brands, make sure it's at least 250GB capacity, USB 3.0 and your done!

Hi

Onedrive is Microsoft's cloud storage service for things like photos and should not use the consoles internal memory.

If your consoles internal drive is full it is very easy to expand it by adding an external hard drive to the console, please see attached link for details about adding extra memory to the console.

That does not answer my question, it just restates what was already said. The question is why is it like this and how can one go about changing this so that all members of the "family", if I'm going to shell out the extra money for it, can use this content?
I bought the content, I payed extra for the gold, and even with that, within my own home not everyone can use it? That is ridiculous. It is the same as buying a disc and putting restrictions on its use to one console or profile.
